Join us as a Senior Tax Associate!
BMC is seeking an EMEA Sr Tax Associate to join its EMEA office based in Poland. This position will report directly to the EMEA Sr Tax manager based in the Netherlands and will focus primarily on income tax accounting and compliance, research, planning, and audits. The position will require interaction and partnership with the corporate accounting group, treasury, legal, and other business groups within BMC. The ideal candidate should have excellent management and analytical skills, motivation, and confidence to independently address issues.
Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:
- Preparation of quarterly income tax accounting provisions for BMC’s 20+ EMEA entities / countries for the consolidated US GAAP financial statements and local statutory financial statements (including tax disclosures).
- Assist with outside tax consultants preparation of income tax compliance in each country.
- Review of income tax returns prepared by outside consultants and preparation of return to accrual calculations.
- Assist with cash tax forecasting.
- Assist with indirect tax matters such as VAT and withholding tax compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of changing tax laws and regulations, identify and implement necessary changes.
To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
- RA certification preferred or in process
- Large corporate tax experience preferred; Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
- Strong technical tax background; strong compliance skills
- Proficient knowledge of US GAAP ASC 740 and tax impacts to financial statements
- Well organized; plans, organizes, and monitors performance according to priorities
- Willing to get into the details; strong analytical thinking
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly self-motivated; takes initiative; proactive; anticipates situations; identifies and addresses issues; accountable

Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is zł 140,175 - zł 233,625
