As a Senior Technical Adoption Specialist (TAS) for Construction, you will partner with strategic customers to help them maximize the value of Autodesk solutions and achieve their business goals.

We are looking for someone who combines practical knowledge of the construction industry with a passion for technology and digital transformation. You will understand how construction companies operate, how project teams collaborate, and the challenges involved in delivering construction projects.

Your background may be in construction operations, project delivery, site management, construction engineering, construction technology, or another construction-related discipline. What matters most is your experience working within or closely alongside construction companies and your ability to translate real-world construction challenges into effective digital workflows.

Through technical guidance, workflow optimization, and adoption services, you will help customers improve collaboration, increase efficiency, and achieve successful outcomes across the construction project lifecycle.

You will join the Technical Adoption group within Customer Success, a collaborative team that values continuous learning, professional growth, and customer success. Working closely with customers and internal stakeholders, you will serve as a trusted advisor, helping organizations accelerate adoption and realize the full potential of Autodesk products and platforms.

You will report to the Manager, Technical Adoption, EMEA. We support hybrid or remote working anywhere in Germany.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with construction companies, contractors, and project teams to understand their operational challenges, business objectives, and digital transformation priorities.
  • Advise customers on the adoption and effective use of Autodesk Forma Build, Forma Data Management, and related construction technologies.
  • Help customers improve and digitize core construction workflows, including field execution, daily reporting, progress tracking, site coordination, and project communication.
  • Support the digitalization of quality and safety management processes, including inspections, checklists, issue tracking, and defect management.
  • Guide customers in improving document and drawing management, revision control, and access to accurate project information.
  • Enable more effective collaboration between construction stakeholders through digital workflows for RFIs, submittals, approvals, and issue resolution.
  • Translate practical construction requirements into technology adoption strategies that deliver measurable business value.
  • Deliver technical demonstrations, workshops, training, and enablement programs tailored to the needs of construction teams.
  • Build trusted relationships with construction professionals, from site teams and project managers to technical and business leadership.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, Product, and technical teams to identify opportunities for increased adoption and customer success.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the construction industry, construction technology, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated experience working within a construction company or directly supporting construction contractors and their operational workflows.
  • Strong understanding of how construction companies manage and deliver projects, including coordination between site teams, project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Practical knowledge of construction project workflows, such as field reporting, quality and safety management, document control, issue tracking, project coordination, or construction project management.
  • Experience using, supporting, implementing, or driving adoption of digital technologies within construction organizations.
  • Ability to understand construction-related business challenges and translate them into practical technology solutions.
  • Knowledge of the German construction industry and its working practices, with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both construction professionals and technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects or customer engagements simultaneously while balancing priorities effectively.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional experience with a general contractor (Generalunternehmer), construction contractor (Bauunternehmen), specialist contractor (Fachunternehmen), or construction project delivery organization.
  • Experience in construction project management (Projektleitung), site management (Bauleitung), construction execution (Bauausführung), site coordination (Baustellenkoordination), construction operations, or related disciplines.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation or technology adoption within a construction company.
  • Knowledge of construction technology solutions such as Autodesk Forma Build, Forma Data Management, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or comparable construction management platforms.
  • Familiarity with digital construction workflows, including site reporting, quality and safety inspections, drawing and document control, RFIs, submittals, and issue management.
  • Experience with construction technology ecosystems, including ERP systems, BIM tools, common data environments (CDE), and project management platforms.
  • Experience delivering technical training, workshops, or technology enablement programs for construction professionals.
  • Understanding of how digital construction solutions connect office-based project management with on-site execution.
  • Experience collaborating effectively across global, cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ownership, adaptability, and a growth mindset.
  • Passion for helping construction companies improve how they work through technology.

We welcome candidates from a wide range of construction backgrounds. Experience in a specific construction trade or discipline is not required. We particularly value professionals who understand the operational needs of construction companies and have helped construction teams improve their workflows through technology.
