Senior Technical Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Technical Analyst to join a project for a leading financial services client in Vienna. You will support the development of a new advisor-facing application and work closely with business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Location: Remote within the EU + 2 days per week onsite in Vienna

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze requirements from business stakeholders and product managers
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria
• Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, developers, and other stakeholders
• Analyze existing banking and advisory processes and identify opportunities for improvement
• Support developers during implementation and clarify functional and technical questions
• Validate delivered solutions against defined business and technical requirements
• Identify technical dependencies, risks, usability concerns, and potential performance issues
• Maintain structured and up-to-date project documentation

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, IT Analyst, System Analyst, or Requirements Engineer
• Previous experience in banking or financial services
• Strong understanding of application development, APIs, system integrations, databases, and software development processes
• Experience translating complex business requirements into clear technical specifications
• Good knowledge of Agile methodologies, user stories, acceptance criteria, Jira, and Confluence
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach
• C1 English level

Nice to have

• Experience with advisor-facing banking applications or digital banking platforms
• Knowledge of banking advisory processes and financial products
• Experience with process modelling, solution architecture, testing, or UAT
