Senior Technical Analyst

We're looking for a Senior Technical Analyst to join one of our Data Warehouse and BI teams. You'll be the technical bridge between business requirements and data architecture — turning business rules and integration needs into clear specifications, solid data models, and traceable data flows that other teams can build on with confidence.

𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀 & 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀

Transla • te business requirements, data rules, and integration needs into detailed technical specifications for data flows and solutions.

• Produce and maintain technical documentation: functional and technical specs, data flow diagrams, mappings, and system diagrams.

• Map technical dependencies across systems, applications, modules, and integration flows.

• Work with technical teams and vendors to clarify requirements and validate proposed solutions.

• Lead and participate in technical analysis sessions with business and IT stakeholders.

• Keep documentation current throughout the life of each project and implementation.

𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀 & 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴

Analyze and p • rofile source data sets to identify structures, relationships, and anomalies.

• Assess technical feasibility of requirements based on available data and system dependencies.

• Define detailed source-to-target mappings from validated prototypes.

• Build and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models (ERD) aligned with business needs and the company's data architecture.

• Apply advanced modeling techniques — normalization, star/snowflake schema — to optimize performance and support reporting and analytics.

• Define entities, relationships, and integration rules to keep data flows consistent and well documented.

• Partner with business and IT teams to validate data models against operational and technical requirements.

𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗴𝗲 & 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆

Main • tain technical metadata in the data catalog, ensuring field-level lineage between source and target systems.

• Document technical dependencies and transformation rules behind each data flow.

• Run technical impact analysis ahead of changes to systems and data flows.

• Flag data quality or integration risks and work with the right teams to resolve them.

• Define technical data validation rules and help build them into testing processes.

• Contribute to lineage, metadata management, and data validation standards and tooling.

𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁

Partner • with business analysts and testers to validate technical implementations and data flows.

• Provide technical support during testing and UAT, and help investigate defects.

• Reconcile data between source and target systems to confirm consistency and integrity.

• Support implementation of technical changes and fixes across data flows and solutions.

• Make sure implementations meet agreed project specifications and standards.

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

𝗠𝘂𝘀𝘁-𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲

Unive • rsity degree in IT, Cybernetics, Economic Informatics, Mathematics, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in a similar technical data analyst role.

• Strong hands-on SQL skills and solid understanding of database and data modeling concepts.

• Proven experience with source-to-target mappings, data flow documentation, and system diagrams.

• Practical experience building conceptual, logical, and physical data models, including dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schema).

• Working knowledge of data lineage and metadata management practices.

• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills — able to diagnose complex requirements and validate solutions with data.

• Comfortable facilitating technical discussions with both business and IT stakeholders.

• Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to produce clear technical documentation.

• Experience in the banking or retail industry.

• Certifications or specialized training in SQL, databases, or data modeling.

• Familiarity with data governance and validation tooling.
