Role: Technical Analyst

Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)

Contract Duration: 6+months extendable

Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)

Location: 100% Remote

We are seeking a Senior Technical Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and engineering teams within a cloud-native environment. The role requires a strong technical background, prior software development experience, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.

The ideal candidate will support requirements analysis, API validation, Agile delivery, release coordination, production troubleshooting, and process improvement while working closely with Product Owners, Technical Leads, and Developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional requirements.
• Work with engineering teams to understand application architecture, APIs, integrations, and workflows.
• Test and validate REST APIs using Postman.
• Analyze relational and NoSQL data, including DynamoDB.
• Manage JIRA backlogs and facilitate Agile ceremonies.
• Coordinate releases, deployment planning, and production readiness.
• Use Dynatrace and CloudWatch for monitoring and production issue analysis.
• Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and GitHub Copilot for analysis, documentation, and testing.
• Support defect analysis, root-cause investigation, and process improvements.

Must-Haves

• 5+ years as a Technical Analyst, Systems Analyst, Technical BA, or Technical Product Owner.
• Previous Software Developer/Software Engineer experience is important.
• Strong REST API testing with Postman or similar tools.
• Relational + NoSQL database experience, especially DynamoDB.
• JIRA + Agile/Scrum experience.
• Software release/deployment coordination.
• Understanding of AWS/cloud-native applications and microservices.
• Strong stakeholder and technical communication skills.
