Senior Technical Compliance Manager

As Senior Technical Compliance Manager, you will own the end-to-end technical compliance lifecycle for Bragg’s games—from certification planning and test lab coordination to regulatory submissions, production readiness, and controlled release. In this hands-on senior role, you will act as the crucial technical bridge between our RGS development, frontend, QA, and Compliance teams, external testing laboratories, and regulators. As our content expands across global regulated markets (especially in the US), your work directly enables Bragg’s rapid growth by setting the standard for how game certification is run. You will lead complex projects, resolve technical escalations, and mentor team members while collaborating with cross-functional engineering and operational leaders.

This is a hybrid role based at our Ljubljana office or a remote role.

what you’ll do:

• Own and run the end-to-end game certification process, ensuring every game hits technical, structural, and regulatory milestones;
• Build certification project plans, manage pre-production builds/documentation, and drive production releases within strict schedules;
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for external testing labs and lead the onboarding of new lab partners;
• Troubleshoot day-to-day lab issues, review technical logs/documentation, and drive high volumes of reported issues to rapid resolution;
• Prepare and manage timely regulatory submissions while providing technical expertise for regulator queries and restricted-jurisdiction requirements;
• Drive production readiness, coordinate game/frontend client releases, and enforce strict Change Management (CM) traceability;
• Review backend and frontend game updates for compliance impact and align with RGS developers on release requirements;
• Partner closely with QA to review test scenarios, ensure full regulatory test coverage, and resolve findings;
• Identify risks, blockers, and process bottlenecks early to continuously shorten time to certification;
• Mentor technical compliance specialists, embed new compliance workflows into the team, and report certification status to leadership.
  

what you bring to the team:

• 4+ years in online gaming, game development, or RGS environments, with at least 2 years in technical compliance or game certification;
• Proven ownership of game certification with independent testing labs across multiple jurisdictions (preferably including US markets);
• Deep technical understanding of RGS functionality, game architecture (backend/frontend client), system logs, and operator integrations;
• Hands-on experience with production deployments, release governance, Change Management (CM), and QA test scenarios;
• Demonstrated ability to integrate Generative AI into the engineering workflow to speed up debugging, automate routine coding tasks, and enhance architecture design and problem-solving;
• Strong project management, structured prioritization, and calm leadership under fast-paced regulatory deadlines;
• Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to articulate technical compliance issues clearly to engineers, labs, and regulators.

• Familiarity with technical standards used by testing labs and US regulators (e.g., GLI-19 and state-specific iGaming requirements);
• Practical experience onboarding a new testing laboratory or setting up a certification framework from scratch;
• Experience mentoring or leading a small technical compliance team;
• Hands-on proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or modern change-tracking platforms.
