Senior Technical Program Manager | Dublin | €596 per day | 12-Month Contract

Recruiters is seeking an experienced Lead Technical Program Manager for a major global technology organisation, supporting strategic infrastructure initiatives and large-scale technology deployments.

This is an excellent opportunity to lead complex, cross-functional programmes involving data centre infrastructure, product deployments and enterprise technology modernisation within a global environment.

The Role

You will drive strategic technical programmes from inception through to successful delivery, coordinating engineering, architecture, operations, finance and external vendors. You will be responsible for establishing predictable delivery plans, managing dependencies, removing blockers and ensuring projects remain aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional technical programmes across data centre infrastructure and global product deployments.
• Manage programme scope, timelines, dependencies, risks and delivery milestones across multiple teams.
• Drive the delivery of strategic infrastructure and technology initiatives from planning through implementation.
• Develop business cases, financial models, forecasts and programme budgets.
• Partner with Finance and senior stakeholders to secure funding approvals and support executive reviews.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical and operational deliverables.
• Establish reporting mechanisms, programme metrics and governance to provide visibility on delivery progress.
• Manage multi-vendor relationships and ensure alignment with programme objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, remove inefficiencies and accelerate delivery.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both engineering teams and senior business stakeholders.

Essential Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing technical programmes or complex projects within a global or similarly complex organisation.
• Strong experience with data centre infrastructure, infrastructure deployments or new application deployment projects.
• Technical background with the ability to understand complex infrastructure and challenge technical designs.
• Experience developing and managing large-scale business cases, budgets and financial forecasts.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, dependencies and third-party vendors.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and programme governance skills.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project, programme or Agile qualifications, or equivalent practical experience.
• Existing permission to work in Ireland.

Contract Details

• Rate: €596 per day
• Duration: 12 months, with potential extension
• Location: Dublin, Ireland
• Working arrangement: Hybrid in Dublin
• Start date: ASAP
