Cricut is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to join our Talent team on a six-month temporary basis. This role will focus primarily on hiring for Hardware Engineering and related technical functions, helping us attract exceptional talent for the products our members love.
The ideal candidate has deep experience recruiting for complex hardware roles and understands the specialized talent markets for mechanical, electrical, firmware, manufacturing, and product engineering. They are proactive, organized, and skilled at partnering with hiring leaders to move searches forward quickly.
What You’ll Do
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for Hardware Engineering and related technical roles, including Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware/Embedded Systems, Manufacturing, Quality, Systems, and Product Engineering.
- Partner with hiring managers to define requirements, calibrate on technical skills and experience, and build targeted sourcing strategies.
- Source and engage highly specialized hardware candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, referrals, job boards, and direct outreach.
- Manage the full candidate process, including screening, interview coordination, feedback collection, offers, and closing.
- Advise hiring managers on market conditions, talent availability, candidate expectations, and competitive hiring practices.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring teams, ensuring a strong, efficient candidate experience.
- Drive timely interview feedback and hiring decisions, escalating roadblocks when needed.
- Maintain accurate candidate and pipeline information in SmartRecruiters.
- Support other technical recruiting needs as priorities shift during the assignment.
- 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, with significant experience recruiting for hardware engineering roles.
- Demonstrated success sourcing and closing candidates in specialized areas such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, firmware/embedded systems, manufacturing, quality, or systems engineering.
- Familiarity with the hardware product development lifecycle, from concept and design through validation, manufacturing, and launch.
- Strong sourcing skills and comfort building candidate pipelines for difficult-to-fill roles.
- Ability to partner credibly with technical leaders, ask thoughtful questions, and translate business needs into effective recruiting strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple searches and competing priorities with urgency, organization, and follow-through.
- Strong communication, judgment, and candidate-management skills.
- Experience with SmartRecruiters and LinkedIn Recruiter preferred.
