The Engineering domain helps BNZ modernise our software engineering ecosystem by turning standards, skills, governance, and best practice into products, pathways, partnerships, and automation that help teams deliver value faster and more safely.
We're looking for an experienced Senior Spring Boot Platform Engineer to help build tooling, automation, and shared components that enable BNZ developers to create compliant backend Spring Boot services aligned to our target-state patterns.

This hybrid role is based in Wellington or Auckland, with two flexible working days per week and anchor days on Tuesday, Thursday, and either Monday or Friday.
This role is known internally as Senior Technical Specialist. We're looking for a Senior Platform Engineer with strong Spring Boot experience, or a senior software/Spring Boot developer or developer experience engineer with strong platform engineering experience.
