Senior Technical Specialist-Validation Test Engineer

Skilled QA professional leading application product testing across Kubernetes, OpenShift, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, AKS). Experienced in test automation using Robot Framework, Python, and Selenium, with a strong focus on test planning, debugging, and performance optimization. Develop and review comprehensive test plans and test cases, ensuring extensive coverage of functional, boundary and negative scenarios. Build working relationships with Product Management, Architecture, Development and Project Management teams to ensure high-quality deliverables. Initiate and contribute to performance improvement initiatives, ensuring that the application products meet performance benchmarks. Stay at the forefront of new technologies, including Microservices, Kubernetes, SDN/NFV, and Cloud solutions, to continuously improve testing practices and solutions. Drive product quality by identifying testing improvements and focusing on the overall software development and testing lifecycles. Work effective Must have skills: Graduate or Postgraduate in Engineering stream between 8 to 14 years of hands-on experience with automation tools such as Robot Framework, Python, and Selenium for writing test scripts and analyzing automation failures. Experience in Open Source Kubernetes, RHEL OpenShift, Public Clouds (AWS, Google, Azure), and containerized environments. Extensive experience in application product E2E system testing within Networking, EMS/NMS, and Telecom domains. Hands-on experience with performance testing tools and techniques to ensure the scalability and efficiency of applications. Nice to have: Familiarity with key Telecom technologies including SNMP, Netconf/Yang, SDN/NFV, FCAPS, and Microservices. Understanding of security testing methodologies and the ability to identify vulnerabilities in cloud-based applications. Deeper knowledge of telecom protocols and network management practices for better test scenario creation and execution.
