Senior Technical Support Consultant - Finastra Trade Innovation

We are hiring a Sr. Technical Support Consultant – Trade Innovation who will provide support for Monitoring, batch and interface support, technical troubleshooting, deployments.

Responsibilities

• - Technical support professional acts as the highest internal escalation level, solving the most complex, deep-rooted, and specialized technical problems that tiers 1 and 2 cannot fix. Advanced Troubleshooting: Analyze complex software bugs, network failures, and core infrastructure issues using deep system logs, debug data, and code-level analysis. Work directly with product developers, software engineers, and systems architects to report bugs, test patches, and deploy hotfixes. Testing and delivery
• Prepare test scenarios covering full transaction lifecycles (issue, amend, documents presentation, discrepancy, payment, settlement, expiry).
• Support SIT, coordinate UAT with operations users, and triage defects with the development and Finastra teams.
• Contribute to version upgrades, regression testing and production support on complex functional issues.

SKILLS

Must have

• 7-10 years of total IT experience
• Deep Expertise in Finastra Trade Innovation and Trade Finance Operations, deep Trade Innovation functional knowledge. Finastra Trade Innovation:
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Finastra Trade Innovation (TI Plus, TI Plus2 or Fusion Trade Innovation), ideally across two or more implementations or upgrades.
• Working knowledge of TI modules: Import and Export LCs, Standby LCs, guarantees (issued and received), Import and Export Collections, Shipping Guarantees, Trade Loans/Financing and Bills discounting.
• Trade finance domain:
• Strong grasp of the full lifecycle of documentary credits, guarantees, collections and trade financing products.
• Working knowledge of ICC rules: UCP 600, ISBP 821, URDG 758, ISP98, URC 522, URR 725, eUCP and Incoterms 2020.
• SWIFT Category 4 and 7 messages and MT798; awareness of trade digitisation (MLETR, electronic bills of lading).
• Knowledge of supply chain finance (payables, receivables, invoice financing) is an advantage.
• Technical Support Specialist ensure Monitoring, batch and interface support, technical troubleshooting, deployments.
