Senior Test Automation Engineer (JavaScript / Salesforce)

We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and Salesforce Service Cloud to lead testing efforts across automation, integration validation, and data quality assurance. The ideal candidate will drive testing strategy during the migration of legacy services, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure a smooth, well-documented transition through improved processes and team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage testing activities and collaborate with teams to guide test approaches, understand challenges, and resolve issues efficiently
• Partner with internal and third-party teams to plan test phases effectively, ensure thorough coverage, and manage dependencies between teams
• Drive automation of regression and integration tests, promoting test automation frameworks and best practices
• Provide clear and timely reporting on testing status to stakeholders, highlighting progress, solution quality, dependencies, and challenges
• Lead changes and improvements within teams to enhance testing processes, evaluate impact on dependencies, and ensure seamless integration between testing phases
• Plan UAT with business stakeholders, define exit criteria for testing phases, and manage dependencies between user acceptance testing and iterative testing cycles
• Validate Salesforce Service Cloud functionality and oversee testing of approximately 20 integrations
• Support data testing efforts to ensure accuracy and consistency during the deprecation and replacement of legacy services

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in test automation and manual testing, including experience with Salesforce Service Cloud
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Playwright for web test automation
• Experience with REST API testing
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical skills with the capability to understand complex systems beyond following test scripts
• Experience with defect management and test documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence
