This role will see you work and contribute across disciplines, modes and agencies to understand how places are changing, identify the transport challenges and opportunities that matter most, and develop evidence-based planning advice that supports better investment and policy decisions.

You will contribute to place-based and integrated transport planning for centres, precincts, corridors and growth areas. You will apply data analysis to identify emerging challenges and opportunities, develop clear problem definitions, planning objectives and transport outcomes that respond to the needs of the individual places. You will apply transport planning principles to balance movement, access, connectivity, amenity and place outcomes whilst considering transport needs across multiple modes, including walking, cycling, public transport, roads, freight and emerging mobility.

You will develop and assess strategic transport options and identify potential interventions for further investigation, translate complex technical analysis into concise, evidence-based advice for senior leaders, decision-makers and stakeholders.
