Ready to make an impact where financial markets, data, and business come together?

We are looking for a new colleague to join our Treasury team and help take Group Treasury to the next level as a trusted business partner across Demant.

This is a role for someone who enjoys combining financial market insight, data-driven analysis, risk management, and good stakeholder relationships. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference to Demant’s performance by turning financial data and market developments into high-quality analysis, clear recommendations, and sound business decisions.

You will work closely with the Head of Group Treasury, your Treasury colleagues, the wider Demant business, WDI, and external financial partners. With a good Treasury foundation and a strategic yet pragmatic mindset, you will take an active role in liquidity management, financial risk management, funding, and the continued development of our Treasury function.

About Global Finance

You will join Global Finance, a Group Finance organization primarily located at Demant’s headquarters in Smørum, Denmark. We are around 55 colleagues working across Financial Reporting & Compliance, Business Finance, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Financial Systems. Globally, we have more than 850 finance colleagues, including approximately 135 colleagues in our Shared Service Center in Poland.

Our way of working is professional and pragmatic, combined with a friendly and informal atmosphere. We take the work seriously — ourselves a little less so.

We believe that great results come from working together. We value collaboration, support, professional sparring, and knowledge sharing across the organization. In Group Treasury, we have a strong team spirit and believe in “not leaving anyone behind.”

You will report to the Head of Group Treasury and join a Treasury team of six skilled specialists. We are ambitious about what Treasury can deliver for Demant — and we are looking for someone who wants to be part of that journey.

Role & Responsibilities

Joining us, you will play an integral role in the continued development and strengthening of Group Treasury in a Demant setting. You will have plenty of opportunities to take ownership, dive into complex financial topics, work with data, and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.

You can look forward to the following responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and effective group liquidity management, including managing banking relationships and ensuring financial compliance activities.
  • Manage group financial risk exposures and hedging activities, including currency and interest rate risks.
  • Assist with various group funding initiatives, including ensuring efficient funding is obtained and distributed across the Group.
  • Deliver timely and high-quality reporting and strategic analysis to top management.
  • Lead your own projects and analyses, using data and financial modelling to generate insights and support decision-making.
  • Act as a Treasury business partner to the Demant business and WDI (William Demant Invest)
  • Contribute to the continued development and strengthening of Group Treasury and its role as a trusted business partner.
  • Build and maintain important relationships with internal stakeholders, banks, financial institutions, and other external partners.

From day one, you will be trusted with meaningful responsibility and the opportunity to make your mark on how Treasury supports Demant. You will gain broad exposure to financial markets, data-driven analysis, stakeholder management, and strategic decision-making — while developing your expertise and growing your network across a global organization.

Who You Are

You are analytical, curious, and comfortable with complexity. You enjoy digging into financial data, understanding what is driving the numbers, and turning your findings into insights that can make a difference. At the same time, you are a relationship builder who enjoys working with stakeholders and finding practical solutions to business challenges.

You hold a relevant educational background within finance, economics, or a related field and have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience from Corporate Treasury, a financial institution, treasury advisory, or a similar environment. You have a solid understanding of Treasury disciplines, ideally including currency and interest rate risk management, funding, credit, and liquidity management.

You are skilled at working with data, financial modelling, reporting, and analysis, and you can turn financial information into clear insights and recommendations. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are important, as is the ability to communicate financial matters effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders. Experience with Excel and PowerPoint is an advantage, as is an understanding of financial reporting and accounting.

As a person, you are strategic and pragmatic, proactive and collaborative. You take ownership, ask questions, challenge the status quo when relevant, and are motivated by finding better ways of doing things. And while you are confident working independently, you know that the best solutions are often created together.
