About the Company

A Major Global Financial Company is hiring for their new AI-native Technology Transformation Team within their Japanese branch. Their services extend across multiple domains including financial management and insurance, with Japan their most profitable branch making up 25% of global earnings.

In the Japan Transformation Team, you would help transform fragmented processes into integrated, digital, and AI-enabled experiences that modernize how this company operates: designing intuitive, end-to-end customer, advisor, and operational experiences across digital products, platforms, and business workflows.

This not a manager role, but is an ideal opportunity for a lead-mindset designer who wants the chance to drive product adoption and foster a tech-forward organization!

What would you be doing?

• Align the Japan Transformation Team's UX Strategy, Vision, and Design System, as a leader of design.
• Champion AI-Native design thinking across customer journeys and business workflows.
• Lead User Research & Discovery to identify unmet needs and opportunities for innovation.
• Stakeholder Management, partnering with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and Business teams.

What experience are we looking for?

• 5+ Years Professional experience in Product Design across digital products, platforms, or customer-facing experiences.
• UI/UX Design leadership experience of teams or projects.
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and balancing competing priorities.
• Business-level English and Japanese (Recommended equivalent to TOEIC 800 and JLPT N1).
