Senior Unified Communications Engineer

Contract: 6 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!

Experience: 8-10 years.

Your Profile & DNA:

We’re looking for a Senior Unified Communications Engineer for an exciting project, where you’ll play a key role in the further development and optimization of a cloud-based UC and telephony environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and optimize AudioCodes SBC and Microsoft Teams Phone environments.
• Provide 3rd-line support for Microsoft and AudioCodes telephony platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex SIP, PSTN, telephony, and connectivity issues.
• Support large-scale UC changes, migrations, and improvement initiatives.
• Lead technical workshops, UAT, testing, and validation sessions.
• Work with external vendors and partners on incidents and technical changes.
• Advise stakeholders on technical improvements, risks, and optimizations.
• Create and maintain technical and functional UC documentation and designs.
• Translate requirements into technical designs, Epics, Features, and PBIs.
• Collaborate with architects, service teams, and stakeholders on solution and architecture changes.
• Contribute to Scrum ceremonies and Agile delivery.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Strong experience with AudioCodes SBC administration and troubleshooting.
• AudioCodes ACA certification is required; ACP is a plus.
• Solid experience with Microsoft Teams Phone, including: Direct Routing, Call Queues, Auto Attendants, Voice Policies
• Strong knowledge of SIP, PSTN, and telephony connectivity.
• Experience with Azure/cloud-based communication environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL and service management processes.
• Experience with DORA compliance.
• Experience with incident, problem, change, and configuration management.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
