Senior User Experience Designer

Role Description As a Senior User Experience Designer at Sitawave, you will lead the end-to-end design of user flows and interfaces across our unified workspace platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate complex workflows into intuitive, accessible, and visually coherent experiences. Day-to-day activities include conducting user research, defining interaction patterns, creating wireframes and high-fidelity designs, building prototypes, and validating solutions through testing and feedback. You will also contribute to and refine design standards, ensuring consistency across the product while advocating for user-centered decision-making. This is a remote contract role, offering flexibility while requiring strong self-management and clear communication in a distributed team environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ Years of experience in User Experience Design
• Strong user-centered mindset with demonstrated expertise in Design Thinking and end-to-end User Experience (UX) design.
• Ability to plan and conduct User Research, including interviews, usability tests, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative insights.
• Proficiency in Visual Design, creating clear, accessible, and consistent interfaces aligned with a design system.
• Experience with Prototyping, from low-fidelity wireframes to interactive prototypes, using modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Experience designing complex SaaS or workflow products, ideally in automation, productivity, or developer tools environments.
• Comfort working in remote, cross-functional teams, with strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to balance user needs with business and technical constraints, and to present design rationale to diverse stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior senior or lead UX experience is strongly preferred.
