About the Company
We're a plaintiff's catastrophic contingency fee law firm with specialized units in mass tort and medical malpractice. Our mission, echoing our founder's guiding principle: "to win the case that can't be won, for the family who can't afford to lose."
Unlike traditional personal injury firms, we exclusively handle catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. We prepare every case for trial, recognizing that clients with devastating injuries have fundamentally different needs than those with moderate injuries. Our Trial Lawyers fully litigate each matter with unwavering dedication.
Our clients are individuals across the United States fighting David vs. Goliath battles against powerful corporations. We level the playing field in these underdog contests, representing people, never companies. Rather than focusing on personal injury, we deliver personal victory: helping clients reclaim their lives when justice is finally served.
Our landmark victories include $60 million against General Motors, $82 million against Celsius Holdings, and $27 million for a pressure cooker explosion. Named "Personal Injury Law Firm of the Year" three consecutive years, we're featured on CNN, CBS News, and recognized by Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers, and U.S. News & World Report.
OUR COMPANY VALUES guide our team and shape our culture:
We're a fully remote organization with 50-60 professionals working in nimble, high-performing teams of 3-8 people. Headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, our talent spans across the United States—with Attorneys in California and Chicago—plus international team members in the Philippines, Pakistan, Nigeria. Kenya, Mexico, Colombia and Brazil.
Our environment isn't about making money; it's about saving lives. We handle catastrophic cases where the stakes couldn't be higher, creating an intensity and purpose we embrace. Every detail matters profoundly; even a single typo can affect a client's outcome. This creates a workplace where your contribution directly changes lives, offering a sense of purpose rarely found elsewhere.
About the Role
We're looking for a remote Legal Project/Program Manager to build and run the operational backbone of our litigation division, a team managing a few hundred active cases across five American cities.
In this role, you'll audit our current systems, rebuild workflows, and manage the day-to-day production machine so our Lawyers can focus on winning cases. This isn't about tweaking a well-oiled system; you're building one from messy foundations, with the full support of firm leadership and Trial Lawyers. This role is internally facing; you won't be client-facing yourself, though the people you manage are.
Right now, the firm's ability to take on more cases and reach more families is held back by operational capacity rather than by demand or will. This position exists to close that gap.
Our IDEAL CANDIDATE brings 6+ years of relevant project or program management experience, whether that's a legal-specific background in plaintiff's contingency fee law or mass tort (with or without legal PM certifications), or project management experience built more broadly in professional services. Experience managing a group of Paralegals across that kind of caseload counts too, even without an exact title match, and you don't need to be a lawyer to succeed here, just a clear read on complexity and how to move work through people. You're the kind of presence that makes a team feel instantly more "pro": you walk into a meeting, quickly diagnose what's broken, and lay out a fix people trust. You lead like a head coach, not just executing the work yourself but running the team around you so everyone's playing their position well, and you understand the stakes go beyond this team: get this right, and it opens the door for the firm to expand into new cities and help more people.
Performance Metrics: Your performance will be measured by how smoothly operations run, how quickly incidents get resolved with lasting fixes, how well the firm can scale capacity while maintaining quality, and the accuracy of your forecasting in preventing problems before they surface.
Reporting Structure: You'll be in the Litigation division, working closely with Paralegals, Legal Assistants, Intake Specialists, Associate Attorneys, and other members of the firm leadership team. This position reports directly to the Attorney.
