About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior UX Designer to shape innovative user experiences for a next-generation conversational AI shopping experience.

This role is ideal for a design professional passionate about the intersection of UX design, conversational interfaces, and artificial intelligence. You will take ownership of complex design challenges, define user-centred solutions, and collaborate closely with product, engineering, and research teams to deliver intuitive, scalable, and impactful experiences.

The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in conversational design, AI-powered product experiences, rapid prototyping, and Figma, alongside a passion for exploring how emerging AI tools can enhance the design process.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead UX Design: Own the end-to-end design process for complex projects, developing scalable and sustainable solutions for challenging user and business problems.
• Conversational AI Experiences: Design intuitive conversational interfaces and AI-powered shopping journeys that meet evolving user needs.
• Prototyping & Innovation: Leverage Figma and AI-powered tools to rapidly develop concepts, prototypes, and interactive experiences.
• User Research & Insights: Apply UX research methodologies, user behaviour analysis, and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve product experiences.
• Design Strategy: Define and communicate design direction, UX principles, and long-term product experience strategies.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other designers to translate concepts into effective, high-quality product experiences.
• Data-driven Design: Use relevant data, metrics, and user feedback to evaluate product performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Stakeholder Management: Present design concepts, communicate design rationale, build consensus, and influence decisions across multidisciplinary teams.
• Design Systems & Accessibility: Apply and evolve design systems, interaction patterns, visual guidelines, and accessibility standards to ensure consistency and usability.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify emerging user needs, industry trends, technical constraints, and opportunities to innovate while balancing user experience and business objectives.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a Senior UX Designer or Product Designer role, ideally working on complex digital products.
• Strong expertise in conversational UX, conversational design, and AI-driven user experiences.
• Experience designing AI-powered products, intelligent assistants, or conversational interfaces.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including wireframing, prototyping, and communicating design specifications.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools for design, ideation, and rapid prototyping.
• Strong understanding of UX research methodologies, user behaviour, usability testing, and insight synthesis.
• Experience working across the full product development lifecycle, from discovery and ideation through to implementation.
• Excellent visual design skills, interaction design expertise, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication, storytelling, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
