Senior Vice President - Business Unit Manager - Hybrid

The USCC COO Business Execution team leads expense optimization and strategic initiatives across all of USCC. The Business Unit Manager is a senior-level position responsible for delivering results by leading projects end-to-end and working with cross-functional partners. The Business Unit Manager coordinates and manages activities such as the tracking of business financials, employee headcount, strategic projects, and other administrative / ad hoc needs as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Drive operational and reporting efficiency by partnering with internal teams to improve processes
• Manage financial control by applying a comprehensive understanding of the department Profit & Loss (P&L), including managing direct expenses, accruals, allocations, and third-party spend to achieve operational efficiency and productivity commitments
• Responsible for cross USCC strategic initiatives and critical investments, including technology investments, staffing, regulatory matters, and
• Execute vendor management activities, including ensuring legal requirements are met and coordinating contract negotiation and processing
• Provide oversight of the Business-Critical Milestone Reporting process and other reporting processes to ensure quality, efficiency and accuracy
• Ensure headcount is accurate, real estate is inventoried and planned, and onboarding and termination of resources are managed
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Recommended Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in financial services
• Experience working in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders
• Knowledge of the financial services industry and technology, including Profit & Loss (P&L), accruals, client allocations, capitalization, recovery and fixed price contracts
• Proven ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets and cultures
• Proven ability to work in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments
• Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master's degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
