The Senior Vice President (SVP), Delivery – Denials Resolution & Payment Compliance leads Knowtion Health's delivery operations across three core lines of business: Clinical Denials, Underpayments, and Interest & Penalties. Reporting to the Chief Delivery Officer, this leader is accountable for the performance, quality, and financial outcomes of these functions, ensuring consistent, compliant, and results-driven delivery for clients. The SVP builds and leads a high-performing team, partners closely with peer Delivery leaders across the organization, and drives continuous improvement in recovery outcomes, cycle time, and client satisfaction.

The Opportunity:
- Own the strategy, performance, and financial accountability for the Clinical Denials, Underpayments, and Interest & Penalties lines of business, driving recovery outcomes and operational excellence.
- Lead denial review, audit, and appeal operations, ensuring quality, timeliness, compliance, and overturn performance meet client and organizational expectations.
- Direct systematic identification, validation, and recovery of payer underpayments, including contract modeling, recovery targets, aging management, and escalation processes.
- Lead Interest & Penalties recovery, ensuring timely pursuit of recoveries and compliance with applicable payer contracts, prompt-pay requirements, and healthcare regulations.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing leadership team across Denials, Underpayments, and Interest & Penalties, establishing productivity, quality, and financial performance standards.
- Partner cross-functionally with executive, clinical, coding, compliance, and delivery leaders to drive root-cause remediation, process and technology improvements, automation, and end-to-end client delivery alignment.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, including direct experience in denials management, underpayments, and/or payer contract compliance.
- 5+ years of senior leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience with payer appeals processes, contract modeling, and interest/penalty recovery strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of healthcare payer regulations, prompt-pay requirements, and applicable dispute resolution processes relevant to scope of role.
- Demonstrated track record of driving measurable financial recovery and operational performance improvement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CRCR, CHFP, CPC, or similar) a plus.
