Role Description The Senior Vice President of Corporate Development is a full-time, remote role responsible for driving strategic growth initiatives and long-term value creation for Maldives Securities Trading Pvt Ltd. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and evaluating acquisition and investment opportunities, leading end-to-end deal execution, and managing cross-functional project teams. The role oversees financial modeling, valuation analyses, and commercial assessments to support executive decision-making. The Senior Vice President will coordinate due diligence processes, negotiate key transaction terms, and maintain relationships with external advisors, investors, and counterparties. This position also contributes to corporate strategy, capital allocation planning, and the development of strategic partnerships aligned with the firm’s objectives.
Qualifications

• Strong corporate development and acquisitions experience, including leading strategic transactions and growth initiatives.
• Advanced financial modeling and finance skills to perform valuations, scenario analyses, and investment appraisals.
• Demonstrated expertise in due diligence, risk assessment, and integration planning for deals and partnerships.
• Proven track record in capital markets, investment banking, private equity, or related financial services environments.
• Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with sound business judgment.
• Effective leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers remotely.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred; relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) are beneficial.
