Senior Video Editor (YouTube)

NIA Production is looking for an Experimental Channel Video Editor to help develop the editing formulas behind our new YouTube channels.

This isn't a traditional editing role. You'll research competitors, study retention, test different editing approaches, and build repeatable systems that other editors can use.

What you'll do:

• Analyze competitor channels and editing patterns

• Develop and test editing styles for new channels

• Edit pilot videos and optimize based on retention data

• Build templates, presets, style guides, and editing systems

• Train and hand off channels to other editors

• Work across different niches and formats

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a strong portfolio of published YouTube videos

• Understands YouTube retention and analytics

• Can adapt their editing style across different formats

• Has strong motion graphics skills

• Uses AI tools effectively in their workflow

• Is analytical, proactive, and comfortable experimenting

• Can work independently and manage multiple projects

Bonus: Experience launching YouTube channels or building editing systems from scratch.

📍 Location: Remote, with periodic onsite periods in Da Nang, Vietnam.

NIA covers housing and travel during onsite periods.

Salary: $1,500–$2,000 USD/month
