🚀 We’re Hiring | Senior Virtualization & VDI Engineer | VMware & Omnissa Horizon

We are looking for a Senior Virtualization & VDI Engineer to join a project for a leading client in the banking sector, based in Tagus Park.

📍 Location: Tagus Park

🏢 Work model: Hybrid – 2 to 3 days/week onsite

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, administer, and support VMware, Omnissa Horizon, and Veeam Backup infrastructures;

• Administer and support VDI environments – Omnissa Horizon;

• Administer and support AppVolumes (Omnissa Horizon) and RDSH environments;

• Administer and support FSLogix within VDI environments;

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to these technologies;

• Participate in technical sessions with vendors and the client to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues;

• Support the management and maintenance of virtualization and storage infrastructures.

💻 Valuable Technical Knowledge:

• VMware vSAN;

• HPE Storage;

• Certificate Authority (CA);

• VMware SRM / VMware Live Recovery;

• Azure VMware Solution (AVS) – administration and support knowledge will be considered a plus;

• English proficiency.

👤 We are looking for someone with:

• Solid experience in Virtualization and VDI;

• Strong hands-on experience with VMware and Omnissa Horizon;

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;

• Good communication skills and the ability to interact with technical teams, clients, and vendors;

• Autonomy, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work in critical environments.
