The company specializes in natural, pre-wash hair and scalp oil treatments, positioned around nourishment, hair growth, moisture, breakage and scalp care. Its products are manufactured in England and distributed from its warehouse in Pembrokeshire, Wales. Job Overview: Employment type: Full-time Shift: UK working hours Work setup: WORK FROM HOME What we offer: · Competitive compensation package aligned with your skills and experience · Night differentials pay to help maximize your earnings · Comprehensive HMO coverage, including a free dependent on Day 1 · Employee referral program with rewarding incentives · 20 days of annual leave, giving you flexibility to manage your time · Engaging team activities and events to keep work enjoyable · Build strong, high-impact connections with key stakeholders across the business · Take part in client engagement initiatives to elevate your professional experience. Role Overview: The role is building a considered, profitable wholesale business alongside its core direct-to-consumer brand. Reporting to the Head of Wholesale Sales, the Wholesale Account Manager owns the day-to-day management and growth of our wholesale partnerships, for example Target, Sephora, Boots and other retail and distributor accounts. The purpose of the role is to build a sustainable, profitable wholesale business at the right pace , using strong forecasting, data and analysis to make considered decisions that protect margin and the brand. This is not a sales-at-any-cost role: we grow with partners we can service brilliantly, and where it is useful, this person's market knowledge will help inform the wider business. What We’re Looking For: We’re looking for someone with proven wholesale account management experience, ideally within beauty, personal care, or consumer goods, who can manage retailer and distributor relationships while driving sustainable and profitable growth. The ideal candidate should be commercially minded and highly analytical, with strong experience in forecasting, sales analysis, Excel, margin management, and account planning. They should also be comfortable coordinating with Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Sales on launches, stock, fulfillment, pricing, and promotions. Most importantly, we need a self-starter who can build strong partner relationships, work independently, and bring structure to a fast-growing business without compromising the brand or profitability. Key Requirements Proven wholesale account management experience in beauty, personal care or consumer goods, ideally with retailers such as Target, Sephora, Boots or similar. Strong analytical and forecasting skills, comfortable working with sales data from multiple sources and turning it into clear, actionable conclusions. Advanced Excel, and confidence working with forecasts, trackers and reporting. A commercial, margin-aware approach focused on sustainable, profitable growth rather than volume at any cost. Excellent relationship-building and communication skills with both partners and internal teams. Organized and proactive, able to balance multiple partners and priorities, and comfortable building process in a fast-growing, lean business. Proven experience managing retail and distributor accounts, ideally with retailers such as Target, Sephora, Boots, or similar. Strong relationship management skills, able to act as the main point of contact and build long-term partnerships. Highly comfortable with sales forecasting, sell-in/sell-through data, reporting, and account analysis. Advanced Excel skills and experience working with forecasts, trackers, and commercial reports. Strong understanding of margin, profitability, pricing, and sustainable growth — not simply driving sales volume. Experience coordinating product launches, ranging, pricing, retailer portals, merchandising, and promotional activity. Comfortable working cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Sales to ensure orders, stock, fulfillment, and launches run smoothly. Highly organized and proactive, able to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-growing, lean environment. A self-starter who can build processes and structure, make commercially sound decisions, and work with limited supervision. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to balance retailer needs with the brand’s positioning and profitability. What You’ll Be Working On: Wholesale partnerships and relationships Own the day-to-day relationships with our retail and distributor partners, acting as the key point of contact. Build strong, collaborative, long-term partnerships that support sustainable growth. Represent and protect Hair Syrup's brand positioning, pricing and point of difference with every partner. Forecasting, planning and analysis Work alongside the Head of Wholesale Sales to build sales forecasts for wholesale accounts: weekly, monthly and annual, reviewed and adjusted as the business evolves. Use sell-in and sell-through data to plan orders, stock and promotional activity with the Supply Chain team. Analyze account performance against forecast, identify risks and opportunities early, and translate the data into clear, actionable recommendations. Provide regular, clear reporting to leadership on performance, forecast accuracy and margin. Sustainable, profitable growth Grow the wholesale business in a considered, margin-protective way, aligned to the overall business strategy and the brand's purpose. Balance the pace of expansion with our operational capacity to service accounts well: do existing partners brilliantly before chasing new ones. Work with the Head of Wholesale Sales and Supply Chain to only take on growth we can fulfill sustainably and profitably. Launch and assortment execution Plan and coordinate retailer launches and assortment (ranging, pricing, timelines) with internal cross-functional teams. Ensure accurate product set-up, pricing and data across retailer portals and systems, and that compliance and retailer requirements are met. Support in-store presence and merchandising with partners where relevant to the wholesale relationship. Cross-functional coordination Work closely with Supply Chain on stock availability, order flow and fulfillment (POs, EDI, 3PL), so wholesale demand is serviced reliably. Coordinate with the internal marketing team on retailer marketing support, drawing on the brand's assets and guidelines. Feed clean wholesale demand and forecast data into finance for margin and profitability tracking. Ready to take your career to the next level?
