Salary: £35-40k

Location: Remote / Home-Based (UK-wide) with occasional visits to our Head Office (PR5 6FN)

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Workplace Assessor & Quality Lead to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced workplace assessor who is passionate about improving workplace accessibility, delivering high-quality assessments and supporting the development of other assessors.

The role combines hands-on specialist assessment delivery with responsibility for reviewing, improving and maintaining the quality of workplace assessment reports across our team.

You will be confident undertaking a broad range of workplace assessments, including DSE, neurodiversity, dyslexia, assistive technology and general workplace needs assessments.

You will also play a key role in ensuring that assessments completed by colleagues meet consistently high professional standards, providing constructive feedback, improving report quality and helping develop best practice across the team.

This is a predominantly remote position, with the majority of assessments required to be undertaken by you, conducted virtually. Occasional UK-wide travel will be to assist with the delivery of our on-site assessments, typically involving planned 2–3 day routes with overnight stays, generally no more than once per month. Additional travel may occasionally be required to support operational cover.

If you are an experienced assessor looking to take the next step in your career, combining specialist assessment work with quality assurance and professional development responsibilities, we would love to hear from you.

  • Workplace Needs Assessments – identifying reasonable adjustments and practical support for employees with disabilities or long-term health conditions.
  • Assistive Technology Assessments – assessing individual requirements and recommending suitable assistive software, hardware and accessibility solutions.
  • Dyslexia Workplace Needs Assessments – identifying workplace challenges and recommending effective adjustments, strategies and assistive technology.
  • Ergonomic and Homeworking Assessments – assessing workplace and homeworking environments to recommend appropriate equipment and adjustments.

Quality Assurance and Report Review

  • Review and quality-check workplace assessment reports completed by other assessors.
  • Proofread, edit, restructure and, where necessary, rewrite reports to ensure they are clear, accurate and professionally presented.
  • Ensure assessment recommendations are practical, proportionate and supported by the assessment findings.
  • Identify inconsistencies, missing information or areas requiring clarification.
  • Provide constructive feedback & training to assessors to improve report quality.
  • Ensure reports meet agreed quality standards before submission to customers.

Assessor Development and Quality Improvement

  • Support and mentor other workplace assessors.
  • Identify opportunities to improve assessment techniques and report-writing standards.
  • Develop and refine assessment templates, guidance and quality assurance processes.
  • Share specialist knowledge and best practice across the team.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in assessment quality, consistency and efficiency.

Remote Assessment Delivery

  • Deliver remote assessments to customers across the UK.
  • Help develop and improve remote assessment practices and delivery rates.
  • Support the growth of our remote assessment services while maintaining high professional standards.
  • Undertake occasional UK-wide on-site assessments where remote delivery is not appropriate or requested by the customer.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure assessments are delivered efficiently and to a consistently high standard.
