monday.com is looking for a Senior Workplace Specialist to take ownership of our APJ offices across Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo and Melbourne. Based in Sydney - our APJ Regional Hub - you'll be the heartbeat of our regional workplace experience, responsible for keeping our offices functional, beautiful and buzzing with the monday culture our people love.

About The Role

  • Own day-to-day workplace operations across our APJ offices (~180 employees), with Sydney as your primary base

  • Triage and resolve facilities tickets within SLA, identifying opportunities to operate more efficiently at scale across the region

  • Manage and elevate our food and beverage program, ensuring it reflects local culture and employee needs

  • Partner key stakeholders including People Experience,Procurement, Legal, Finance & IT, to deliver moments that connect and inspire our APJ community

  • Coordinate preventive maintenance activities and capital works with property management teams and external vendors across all four sites

  • Plan and execute workplace projects including office refreshes, internal moves, storage, and sustainability initiatives

  • Monitor facilities systems (building security, HVAC, MEP) and respond to office emergencies as needed, including outside business hours

  • Own vendor relationships across the region - managing performance, driving accountability, and sourcing new partners as the business grows

  • Support internal communications related to workplace updates and office experience across APJ

  • Bring an innovative mindset to constantly improve procedures and create a workplace that reflects monday's standards globally

  • Please note: This position requires 4-5 days in the office, with the possibility to work from home on some Fridays and alternate quiet days

Your Experience & Skills

  • 4+ years in workplace, facilities, or office management - experience across multiple sites or locations is a strong advantage

  • Comfortable working autonomously with a high degree of ownership, reporting into a global team across multiple time zones - you don't need hand-holding to get things done

  • Confident engaging and communicating with senior stakeholders, able to present updates, manage expectations and influence decisions without direct authority

  • Proven track record managing a food program, vendor relationships, and day-to-day office operations in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong project management skills - you've run office builds, relocations, or major fit-outs before

  • Excellent communicator with a customer-centric approach and the ability to build trust with stakeholders at all levels

  • Comfortable operating across multiple time zones and navigating different cultural contexts across APJ

  • Highly organised, able to juggle competing priorities and short deadlines without dropping the ball

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and project management tools (monday.com experience is a bonus - and yes, we use our own product!)

  • Willingness to travel across the APJ region as needed
