ABOUT THE ROLE As an SEO Account Manager, you will serve as the primary strategic partner and point of contact for our clients. You will build strong relationships while overseeing the execution of digital marketing campaigns that align with each client’s objectives. You will collaborate closely with internal fulfillment teams and external stakeholders to ensure campaigns are executed effectively and deliver measurable results. To succeed in this role, you must have a strong understanding of SEO and paid advertising. Your ability to translate client goals into actionable strategies will position you as a trusted advisor and help drive long-term client success. RESPONSIBILITIES • Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned SEO clients, managing communication through Slack, video calls, and email. • Campaign Execution Oversight: Collaborate with our fulfillment teams to ensure on-page content, backlinks, citations, and Google Business Profile optimization are delivered on time and meet our quality standards. • Progress Calls: Lead monthly Zoom meetings to review results, educate clients, and discuss strategies and next steps. • Upsell Opportunities: Identify and recommend additional services—including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and websites—that align with each client’s goals. • Reporting and Analysis: Present SEO data clearly and actionably, highlighting ROI and supporting informed decision-making. • Client Retention: Build strong, long-term client relationships through exceptional service, proactive communication, and consistent follow-through. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR • 2+ Years of Experience: Preferably in a client-facing SEO or account management role at a digital agency. • Local SEO Knowledge: A strong understanding of Google Business Profiles, on-page SEO, backlinks, and citations. • Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms and lead client calls confidently. • Organization and Attention to Detail: The ability to manage multiple client accounts while following through on every commitment. • Growth Mindset: A strong desire to exceed expectations, solve problems, and contribute to a fast-paced team.
