The proposed salary range (the final offer will be based on experience and seniority) is € 26 ,400 – €40,000 gross annual total compensation , plus benefits (as listed in the relevant section below). 🎯 Mission & Core Purpose Your mission is to own and accelerate our organic growth across every search surface: traditional, conversational, and AI-generated. As our SEO & AI Search Specialist (GEO/AEO), you will be the architect of how our entire product ecosystem (iubenda, Consentmanager, Complianz, Cookiefirst) shows up across Google, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and emerging discovery platforms. You will make sure we are visible, accurate, and recommended at the moments that matter by combining strong SEO execution with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO). You will drive organic discoverability during our brand consolidation, optimize product pages and templates, and build a unified search strategy that reaches founders, marketers, developers, agencies, and enterprises worldwide, turning search into a scalable growth engine for the entire iubenda Group. 💼 Key Responsibilities - Traditional SEO Strategy & Execution Developing and implementing SEO strategies that grow rankings and traffic across our core markets; Conducting in-depth keyword research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities; Detecting and fixing cross-brand keyword cannibalization, and owning unified keyword governance across the group; Performing technical SEO audits and lead implementations (site architecture, page speed, mobile optimization, internal linking); Building and executing scalable link-building and digital PR strategies, with a focus on the sources that both Google and LLMs trust; Monitoring algorithm changes and adjusting strategies proactively. - AI Search Strategy & Execution (GEO/AEO) Developing and executing GEO/AEO strategies to improve brand visibility in AI-generated answers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Google AI Overviews, and others); Building and maintaining the prompt sets we monitor: category questions, product comparisons, competitor comparisons, and buyer-intent prompts; Implementing schema markup, structured data, llms.txt, and markdown resources to make our content easy for AI systems to read, cite, and recommend; Researching how AI systems retrieve and cite content, identify the third-party sources they rely on in our category, and close authority gaps; Partnering with content teams so our content is structured and formatted for AI visibility, citations, and recommendations; Monitoring how our brands appear in AI-generated answers versus competitors and continuously optimizing; Staying ahead of trends in AI discovery, LLM behavior, Google AI Overviews, and emerging GEO best practices. - Analytics & Reporting Tracking and analyzing performance across GA4, Google Search Console, Semrush, Looker Studio, and AI visibility tools, and turning data into actions; Defining and reporting on KPIs like AI visibility, prompt coverage, citation share, keyword rankings, organic conversions, and pipeline contribution; Continuously refining strategies based on performance data and user behavior trends. - Technical Integration Optimizing Core Web Vitals and user experience metrics to keep pages fast and high-performing; Collaborating with developers to implement technical SEO and GEO improvements. 👤 Your Profile You are an organic growth expert with solid SEO foundations and a strong focus on GEO, AEO, and AI-driven discovery. You understand how LLMs retrieve, interpret, and recommend content across platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity, and you know how to shape our presence within them. Organic search is a rollercoaster. We want someone who accepts that, enjoys it, and wants to learn and improve every day. You are curious, analytical, highly experimental, and comfortable working across multiple brands to keep our products visible, accurate, and recommended in both traditional search and AI-generated results. 💡 Experience & Skills - Must have 3+ years of experience as an SEO Specialist or in a similar organic growth role; Hands-on GEO/AEO experience: you understand how AI systems (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity) source, rank, and cite information, and you have tried to influence it; Solid foundations in technical, on-page, and off-page SEO; Ability to structure content and data for LLM visibility, citations, and trust signals (schema, structured data, entity optimization); Experience with SEO/GEO tooling (Semrush, Screaming Frog etc.); Analytical mindset: you can turn GA4 and Search Console data into clear optimization actions; Daily AI user: you work with LLMs (Claude) and AI tools to speed up audits, briefs, and analysis; Comfortable collaborating with content, product, and engineering teams; Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals; Full professional proficiency in English. - Nice to have Experience in international or multi-domain ecosystems, large-scale SEO migrations, or brand consolidation; Documented GEO wins: concrete examples where you improved brand visibility or citations in AI answers; Experience in B2B SaaS, legal tech, or the privacy/compliance space. 🌐 Location At iubenda we believe in full-remote.
