SEO Link Building & Outreach Executive

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Link Building & Outreach Executive to support our digital marketing activities across all IAS brands. This role is responsible for developing and delivering effective link-building, digital PR and outreach campaigns that enhance online visibility, strengthen brand authority and support organic growth objectives.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Digital Marketing team to secure high-quality backlinks, valuable media coverage, brand mentions and strategic collaboration opportunities. They will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with journalists, publishers, bloggers, influencers and other relevant stakeholders, while identifying opportunities to increase brand exposure and support wider marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with the SEO Executives and Digital Marketing Manager to align link building and PR outreach efforts with the overall marketing strategy.

· Develop and implement outreach campaigns to secure backlinks, media coverage, brand mentions, and collaboration opportunities.

· Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and other relevant contacts in the industry.

· Identify and leverage digital PR and link-building opportunities to enhance brand visibility, authority and reputation.

· Assist in crafting compelling press releases, pitches, and other PR materials.

· Monitor media coverage and track the impact of PR outreach efforts.

· Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation.

· Stay updated on industry trends, news, and emerging PR strategies.

· Provide regular reports and updates to the Team Lead and senior management.

· Perform any other tasks reasonably expected to support the business in achieving its goals.

Essential Skills and Attributes Required:

• Proven experience in link building and PR outreach.
• Strong understanding of PR and media landscapes, including knowledge of journalists, bloggers, influencers, and media outlets relevant to our industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling pitches, press releases, and other PR materials.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to develop and maintain professional contacts for ongoing collaborations.
• Strong understanding of SEO and link-building principles to ensure outreach activities support wider marketing and organic growth objectives.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Analytical mindset to evaluate the effectiveness of outreach campaigns.
• Proficiency in using PR, outreach and media monitoring tools/software.
• Ability to work independently and proactively, while also being a collaborative team player.

Working Conditions:

• This is a contractor role. The successful candidate will be engaged on a contract basis, must be legally able to work in Nigeria and will be responsible for their own taxes and statutory obligations.
• Must have a reliable internet connection and a fully functioning laptop for remote work.
• Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. (UK time), with occasional extended hours during peak cycles.
• This role follows UK bank holidays only. Any other public holidays not observed in the UK can be taken as annual leave, or unpaid leave if annual leave has not yet been accrued.

Pay: ₦400,000 - ₦500,000 per month
