SEO Manager (Remote) About the Role We are looking for an experienced and commercially focused SEO Manager to manage and execute our organic growth strategy. This is a hands-on role for someone who combines strategic thinking with strong execution across technical SEO, content optimisation, keyword research, and performance reporting. You will be responsible for improving search visibility, increasing qualified organic traffic, and driving measurable business growth through effective SEO initiatives. Working closely with content, development, and marketing teams, you will identify opportunities, prioritise improvements, and implement scalable SEO strategies that deliver results. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical and content-related SEO challenges, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable working independently in a fully remote role. Key Responsibilities SEO Strategy & Growth Manage and execute the overall SEO roadmap aligned with business growth objectives. Identify opportunities to increase organic traffic, search rankings, and conversions. Develop and implement both short- and long-term SEO initiatives across multiple digital assets. Monitor search engine algorithm updates, industry trends, and competitor activity to maintain a competitive advantage. Technical SEO Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and prioritise improvements. Work closely with developers to resolve crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals, site speed, and structured data issues. Improve site architecture, URL structures, canonicalisation, redirects, and XML sitemap management. Ensure websites follow SEO best practices across desktop and mobile experiences. Keyword Research & Content Optimisation Perform in-depth keyword research to identify high-value search opportunities. Analyse search intent and competitor performance to inform content strategy. Create SEO-focused content briefs for writers and content teams. Optimise existing content and landing pages to improve rankings, engagement, and conversions. Identify content gaps and scalable opportunities for organic growth. On-Page SEO & Internal Linking Optimise metadata, headings, page structure, and on-page content across key landing pages. Develop and implement internal linking strategies to strengthen topical authority and improve crawl efficiency. Ensure SEO recommendations support both user experience and conversion goals. Authority Building & Off-Page SEO Support backlink acquisition and digital authority-building initiatives. Monitor backlink profiles and identify opportunities to strengthen domain authority. Collaborate on outreach campaigns and partnership opportunities that contribute to SEO growth. Analytics & Reporting Monitor SEO performance using Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Ahrefs, Semrush, and Screaming Frog. Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, engagement, and conversion performance. Produce regular SEO performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations. Clearly communicate SEO progress and business impact to key stakeholders. Requirements 3–5+ years of hands-on SEO experience with a proven track record of delivering organic growth. Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimisation, and content SEO. Experience planning and executing SEO strategies from concept through implementation. Proficiency with: Ahrefs Semrush Screaming Frog Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Google Search Console Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations. Demonstrated success improving rankings, increasing organic traffic, and generating qualified leads or conversions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment. Highly organised with strong prioritisation and project management skills. Nice to Have Experience within B2B, SaaS, marketplaces, logistics, recruitment, mobility, or lead-generation businesses. Experience with programmatic SEO and scalable content strategies. Basic knowledge of HTML, schema markup, JavaScript SEO, or CMS platforms. Experience working within startups or high-growth businesses.
