About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented SEO Specialist to develop and execute localized SEO and GEO strategies for automotive dealership clients. This role is responsible for managing SEO deliverables, identifying optimization opportunities, supporting client success, and contributing to overall client retention and performance.
The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and eager to stay ahead of search engine trends, AI search developments, and evolving best practices.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute SEO/GEO strategies for assigned dealership clients.
- Conduct keyword research, prompt tracking, onsite optimization, and local citation management.
- Perform SEO/GEO audits and recommend opportunities for campaign improvement.
- Respond to client requests accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure all assigned clients receive ongoing optimization and reporting throughout the month.
- Upload and maintain SEO work within client-facing reporting dashboards.
- Participate in client calls and support internal teams as an SEO subject matter expert.
- Collaborate with Content, Sales, Customer Success, and SEO team members.
- Create and share SEO insights, industry updates, and educational resources.
- Stay current on search algorithm updates, AI search developments, and industry trends.
- Complete assigned projects while maintaining quality and meeting established deadlines.
What We're Looking For
Required
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and local SEO best practices.
- Ability to conduct SEO audits and identify optimization opportunities.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Commitment to accuracy, organization, and continuous improvement.
Preferred
- Experience with SEO platforms such as BrightEdge, Ahrefs, or Semrush.
- Experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Experience using AI tools to support research, reporting, content development, and process optimization.
- Understanding of automotive SEO and local SEO/GEO strategies.
- Knowledge of Google Business Profile optimization.
- Understanding of generative search platforms and AI search trends.
- Experience with Schema.org markup and structured data implementation.
- Experience using Yext for local listing management.
- Basic HTML, CSS, and website troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira.
