About the Role We are seeking a strategic, execution-minded SEO & AEO Strategist to take complete ownership of organic growth strategy across a portfolio of 3 to 5 B2B, lead-generation, and healthcare accounts. Reporting directly to agency leadership, you will serve as a core strategist within a dedicated account squad (working alongside Directors of Growth). In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical search fundamentals and modern, text-heavy content strategy. You won't just run site audits; you will actively lead answer engine optimization (AEO) initiatives, build semantic keyword roadmaps, and present organic strategy directly to U.S. client stakeholders in plain, high-impact language. Key Responsibilities Content-Led SEO & AEO Strategy: Design and execute comprehensive organic search and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) roadmaps tailored for B2B and lead-gen clients, optimizing for both traditional search engines (Google, Bing) and AI discovery models (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity). Portfolio Account Ownership: Manage organic search execution across a portfolio of 3 to 5 clients simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and maintaining a proactive communication loop regarding campaign blockers and opportunities. Semantic & Entity Keyword Research: Lead keyword, entity, and topic cluster research to guide editorial planning, voice search readiness, and AI-readiness for complex, text-heavy industries. Client Presentation & Collaboration: Partner with Directors of Growth on enterprise accounts and lead monthly strategy reviews independently on smaller accounts to translate search analytics into clear, ROI-focused stories for clients. Technical Table-Stakes: Perform baseline technical audits (crawlability, site speed, schema/structured data, indexing) within the initial campaign phases to remove technical friction before scaling content initiatives. Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor organic leads, keyword visibility, and conversions using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics (GA4) . 4+ years of professional SEO experience, preferably in an agency setting managing multiple clients Fluent written and spoken English skills with the confidence to present strategies directly to U.S. clients Strong focus on content marketing, B2B lead generation, and entity/keyword research for text-heavy industries Experience creating and implementing SEO/AEO roadmaps from technical audits to content execution Familiarity with AI-driven search models, conversational search interfaces (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini), and structured data Proficiency in industry tools including Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics (GA4) Strong proactive communication and multi-tasking skills to independently manage 3 to 5 client accounts Salary: $3,000 + (PLUS) per month (depending on experience). Contract Type: Direct independent contractor relationship. Unlimited PTO to support a strong work-life balance. Year-End Break: Paid company-wide break from December 24 to January 2 to refresh for the new year.
