Service Delivery Manager Lead a team of cybersecurity engineers, balance pre-sales and delivery, and build lasting partner relationships while helping projects land smoothly and on time. Manchester or Berlin Salary - £45,000–£52,000 / €50,000–€60,000 About us Distology is a cybersecurity solution provider. We work with a small, curated portfolio of vendors — including Okta, Auth0, Tenable, Horizon3.ai , Halcyon and Snyk — and we bring them to market through our network of partners. Distology Engineering is the technical department behind that. We are a small team blending sales engineers and professional services consultants, which means the same people run the early technical conversations, build the proofs of concept, scope the work, and then deliver it. What you'll do You'll lead a team of around a dozen engineers working across two sides of the business: pre-sales for our vendors and partners, and delivery of projects for partners and their customers. • Lead the team. Development, one-to-ones, performance, and being the person they come to first. This is the heart of the role. • Get the right engineer in front of the right partner, properly briefed — whether that's a demonstration, enablement or scoping a piece of work. • Own our vendor relationships closely enough to understand where their products are heading, and adapt how we deploy the team accordingly. • Resource and schedule across pre-sales and delivery. This is the constant puzzle, because most of our engineers do both. • Carry closed deals through to delivered work — staffing, kickoff, check-ins, and landing on time and on budget. • Build the bench through hiring and our network of trusted contractors. • Keep pushing administrative work towards our AI tooling, and spend what you recover on the engineers, the partners and the vendors. Success looks like: projects delivered well and partners who come back, vendors and partners who feel properly supported, and a happy team that's organised, developing and not overloaded. You'll probably have • Managed a delivery or technical team in an agency, consultancy or professional services environment • Coordinated projects end to end — staffing, scheduling, check-ins, close-out • Been genuinely partner- or client-facing, and reliable when something is under pressure • A real habit of AI-assisted working, and something concrete you've changed about how you work • Enough fluency with utilisation, budgets and margin to spot a problem in the numbers • The self-organisation to hold a lot at once without being managed closely Two things worth saying plainly. You don't need to be an engineer — you need enough technical literacy to lead credibly and talk sensibly to a partner. And you'll inherit an operating model rather than invent one: the commercial framework, measures and tooling sit with the CTO, so expect support rather than blank pages Benefits · 25 days holiday (increasing with tenure) + ability to buy/sell days · Birthday off · Health & wellbeing investment · Free breakfast every day · Learning & development opportunities · Quarterly company awards & travel incentives · Annual service awards · Cycle to work scheme · Volunteering days · Regular team socials Equal Opportunity Statement Distology is committed to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace. #LI-CT1 Department Engineering Locations Germany, Stockport Remote status Hybrid About Distology Distology is a multi-award-winning, passionate, and highly knowledgeable cybersecurity solutions provider distributing leading and emerging cybersecurity technologies and services across the EMEA region.
