Service Engineer

Description

At Voltade, we build AI agents that run real Singapore businesses: they answer customers on WhatsApp, take orders, process invoices and talk to systems like SAP and Shopify. When something breaks at 9pm Singapore time, a customer is waiting. We're looking for a Service Engineer who keeps those agents healthy and our customers happy, while we're asleep.

You'll be the first line for 100+ companies across Singapore. You'll triage what's going wrong, read the logs, fix what you can, and hand off what you can't with a clean write-up. Your working day is our evening, so your hours line up with when our customers need someone most.

Voltade launched in 2023 and has already delivered Gen AI projects for over 100 companies across Singapore.

What you'll do

• Own after-hours support (roughly 6pm to 1am SGT). Reply to customers fast, in clear plain English.
• Debug live agents: read conversation logs, find why a reply went wrong, fix the instructions, table or automation behind it.
• Use Claude Code daily to investigate issues, write scripts, and ship small fixes.
• Write up every incident so the morning team picks up where you left off.
• Spot patterns in support issues and turn them into product feedback.

Must have

• Claude Code power user. You use it every day and can show us how.
• Excellent written and spoken English. Customers will read and hear you directly.
• Available to work Singapore evenings, with fast replies during your shift.
• Comfortable on the command line and reading logs, JSON and SQL.

Good to have

• Experience in technical support, customer success or a solutions role
• Familiarity with AI concepts (tool calls, MCPs, agentic workflows)
• Some TypeScript or Python
