Over de vacature

As a Remote Service Engineer DC chargers/technical specialist EV charging solutions, you handle complex malfunctions in AC and DC charging systems fully remotely. You analyze issues in fast chargers (approx. 20 kW to 500 kW), determine the right intervention and support service partners worldwide. The core of your work: quickly and accurately diagnosing, taking over cases from first line support and ensuring installations are reliably back online. This way, you directly contribute to zero-emission mobility and the further scaling up of charging infrastructure in the Netherlands and beyond.

You will work for an international manufacturer of charging solutions for electric vehicles, active in the entire chain from development to maintenance. This organization designs and produces both AC wall chargers for home use and powerful DC fast chargers with reliable, stable connectivity. From the Netherlands, you collaborate with regional and local service organizations worldwide to make zero-emission mobility widely deployable. The focus is on innovative charging solutions that accelerate the energy transition and make sustainable mobility accessible to a large group of users.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Analyze technical malfunctions in EV charging systems remotely via phone, email and remote access;
  • Solve complex problems in AC and DC charging installations and ensure systems function stably again;
  • Take over and manage escalated reports from First Line Customer Support until completion;
  • Monitor the progress of cases and ensure qualitative, timely feedback to customers and partners;
  • Plan on-site visits by service partners or field engineers when remote resolution is not sufficient;
  • Define the content and scope of on-site work based on your technical analysis;
  • Prepare clear instructions, manuals and work descriptions for local service teams;
  • Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to internal and external service and support organizations.

Wat neem je mee?

  • Completed bachelor or master degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, IT or equivalent;
  • Practical experience with electrical installations is a clear advantage;
  • Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written;
  • additional languages are a plus;
  • Independent work attitude, proactive and visibly eager to learn new techniques;
  • Affinity with EV charging systems in the power range of approximately 20 kW to 500 kW;
  • Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented way of thinking;
  • Familiarity with technical support roles and electrical installations;
  • knowledge of Linux is preferred;
  • Able to explain complex technical matters clearly and simply and actively share knowledge with others.
