Overview TSGi is seeking a ServiceNow Architect to support a large-scale federal travel and expense modernization initiative serving civilian government agencies. This role will serve as the ServiceNow technical lead, guiding architecture, platform design, and implementation decisions across a complex enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep ServiceNow expertise, strong federal delivery experience, and the ability to mentor development teams while partnering directly with client stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant solutions. Candidates local to Herndon, VA are preferred and will be expected to work onsite four (4) days per week . Fully remote candidates will also be considered; however, West Coast candidates will not be considered . Per our Federal government contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end ServiceNow platform architecture and solution design. Define and implement platform standards, governance, and best practices. Design secure integrations with external systems using REST APIs and certificate-based authentication. Guide development teams through architecture reviews, technical design sessions, and code reviews. Design and maintain scalable data models, access controls, and application architecture. Mentor developers and consultants while collaborating closely with client stakeholders. Qualifications 7+ years of ServiceNow architecture and platform design experience. Proven experience owning end-to-end ServiceNow solution architecture. Expertise with RBAC, ACLs, Service Portal, Flow Designer, Script Includes, and scoped applications. Experience designing inbound and outbound integrations, including scripted REST APIs, mTLS, and certificate management. Strong knowledge of ServiceNow data models, knowledge management, and user access controls. Federal delivery experience, including FedRAMP, Section 508, and CUI requirements. Experience leading technical teams and establishing platform standards and best practices. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Per our Federal government contract, candidates must be U. S. Citizens able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. Compensation: W2 Hourly rate starts at $100. Pay rates are based on experience, qualifications, location, and certifications, and are subject to change at any time.
