ServiceNow Developer

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer (m/f/n) to join a long-term international project delivered for a European Union Organisation based in Warsaw.

Responsibilities:

ServiceNow platform development:

• Implementing new configurations and customizations of ServiceNow platform
• Analysing and advising on requests for implementation of new functionalities of ServiceNow platform
• Testing and validating proposed changes
• Writing and implementing written code to ServiceNow platform
• Running development projects in cooperation with ServiceNow Architect and Administrator
• Performing application and code reviews to ensure system integrity
• Maintaining up to date solution documentation including technical documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user manuals, knowledge base articles etc.

ServiceNow platform maintenance:

• Managing and maintaining ServiceNow instance, including all files and services on which the instance is built (binaries, configuration, key stores, tomcat, java, local backup, performance tuning etc.) ensuring functionality and security compliance
• Maintaining ServiceNow up to date, upgrade and apply application patches
• Ensuring proper ServiceNow integration with client's systems
• Managing and maintaining MariaDB database files and services used by ServiceNow
• Providing daily support for the ServiceNow platform implementing standard changes
• Maintaining current configurations and customizations of ServiceNow platform
• Analyse and resolve application related incidents and perform bug fixes

ServiceNow platform improvements:

• Providing recommendations to business requirements and contributing to technical designs
• Supporting ServiceNow Architect and ServiceNow Administrator in designing solution architecture and administration
• Supporting ServiceNow projects planning
• Supporting other teams in risk management, disaster recovery, security management, etc.

Knowledge and skills:

• Excellent practical hands-on experience administering and maintaining ServiceNow platform (experience with on-prem will be advantageous)
• Excellent practical hands-on experience configuring ServiceNow platform (ITSM and others)
• Practical hands-on experience designing ServiceNow platform solutions
• Excellent practical hands-on experience with requirements gathering, analysis and project management
• Excellent practical knowledge of ServiceNow products portfolio
• Excellent practical knowledge of Service Management
• Experience in creating SOPs and other technical documentation
• Knowledge of key technologies for ServiceNow integration (Web Services, SSO, LDAP, REST, etc.)
• Well understanding of complex information systems and their interoperability
• Knowledge of IT security standards

Required certificates:

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certificate or equivalent alternative certification
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certificate or equivalent alternative certification

• Type of contract: B2B via SHIMI Poland
• Type of work: hybrid (80% home/20% office)
• Rate: 175 - 195 PLN/H netto + VAT
