Settlements Representative
Location: Scoresby, VIC
Employment Type: Permanent Opportunities
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, with a rotating roster across Monday – Sunday
About the Role
Make an impact from day one by helping customers and dealers move confidently through the final stage of their finance journey. Our Settlements team brings together accuracy, pace and outstanding service to finalise customer applications, meet regulatory requirements and deliver a seamless experience across fleet and retail contracts.
As a Settlements Representative, you’ll work closely with our dealership network to review loan documentation, resolve outstanding requirements and help contracts move smoothly through to settlement.
You’ll confirm key customer and contract information, including identity, income, expenses, affordability and privacy requirements. Once everything meets policy, you’ll activate the contract and arrange payment to the dealership or vehicle supplier.
Based at our modern Caribbean Park office in Scoresby, you’ll join a fast-paced, supportive team that values customer service, collaboration and continuous learning. With structured training, regular coaching and exposure to lending processes, the role is a strong starting point for a career in lending and credit.
Our team supports customers and dealers seven days a week, operating from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm Monday to Friday and 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on weekends.
You’ll work a rotating roster within these hours, providing variety and shared coverage across the team. Our hybrid model generally includes 2–3 office days each week, with additional onsite attendance for training and development when required.
What Your Journey Will Look Like
We invest heavily in setting our people up for success.
Your onboarding experience includes:
- Two weeks of classroom-based training covering our products, systems and processes, with full onsite attendance required
- Four to six weeks of supported learning, with coaching to build your knowledge and confidence in the role
We’ll also work with you to create a development plan aligned with your career goals and connect you with future opportunities across Toyota Finance Australia.
What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
- Review retail loan documents accurately and complete settlement and post-settlement activities
- Confirm customer information, including identity, income, employment, expenses, affordability and relevant credit or business checks
- Apply Toyota Finance Australia policies and meet relevant legal, privacy, financial crime and security registration requirements
- Communicate proactively with dealerships to resolve outstanding items and support a smooth customer experience
To support your success, you'll receive:
- Monthly coaching sessions
- Regular team meetings and collaborative learning opportunities
- Ongoing support from a highly engaged leadership team
What We're Looking For
We'd love to hear from you, even if you don't meet every requirement. We value diverse experiences and backgrounds, knowing that different perspectives help us create better solutions for our customers.
You’ll bring:
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to review information accurately in a high-volume environment
- Confident communication and customer service skills, including the ability to work with dealerships by phone and resolve issues constructively
- Experience working in a regulated processing environment and the ability to follow policies and procedures consistently
- Availability to work a flexible rotating roster across the team’s operating hours
- Experience in retail lending, settlements, asset finance or dealership operations is helpful but not essential
- Knowledge of financial crime, consumer credit or security registration requirements is also advantageous
What's In It For You
At Toyota Finance Australia, we are committed to helping our people succeed both professionally and personally.
Our benefits include:
- Hybrid working arrangements
- 26 weeks paid primary carer's leave and 8 weeks paid secondary carer's leave

- Discounted vehicle purchase programs for you and your family
