We are seeking an experienced Treasury Manager to join our Financial Accounting Shared Service Centre at Bouygues UK, based in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, supporting treasury activities across multiple Group companies. Hybrid working is available for this role, providing a balance between office-based collaboration and remote working.


This is a key position within the Shared Service Centre, where you will be responsible for the effective management and oversight of the Group’s treasury activities, ensuring sufficient liquidity, robust cash forecasting, effective banking relationships, strong financial controls and accurate treasury reporting across the businesses supported by the SSC.

The role will provide clear visibility and assurance over Group cash positions and support senior management with timely, accurate information to enable informed funding, liquidity and cash management decisions. You will also play an important role in strengthening treasury governance across the Shared Service Centre, identifying and implementing opportunities to improve processes, controls, systems, reporting and overall operational efficiency.

Your Skills Profile will include:

You will be an experienced treasury professional with a demonstrable track record of managing cash and liquidity, banking relationships, payments and treasury operations across a complex, multi-entity environment. You will have strong experience of funding, debt and interest management, treasury reporting and analysis, financial controls, governance and risk, together with a proven ability to improve treasury processes and systems. The role also requires effective people management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders and finance teams across multiple Group companies.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Significant experience in treasury, cash management or a closely related finance role.
  • Strong practical experience of cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
  • Experience managing banking relationships and bank accounts.
  • Strong understanding of payment processes and financial controls.
  • Strong Excel and financial analysis skills.
  • Experience working with an ERP or finance system in a complex organisation.
  • Experience with online banking platforms
  • Ability to analyse financial information, identify issues and take appropriate action.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and manage competing deadlines.
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
