Role Description The Shariah Asset Consultant is a full-time role responsible for advising clients on Shariah-compliant financial and takaful products, with a focus on asset protection and growth.
The position is hybrid, based in Damansara, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. Day-to-day tasks include meeting and consulting with clients, assessing financial needs and risk profiles, and recommending suitable Shariah-compliant solutions. The consultant will prepare proposals, maintain accurate records, follow up on leads, and manage client portfolios in line with regulatory, ethical, and Shariah guidelines.
The role also involves participating in team trainings, staying updated on market trends and Islamic finance principles, and contributing to sales and outreach activities to support organizational objectives.

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Shariah principles in finance, takaful concepts, and Islamic asset management, with the ability to explain these clearly to clients.
- Client advisory and relationship management skills, including active listening, needs analysis, and providing tailored financial recommendations.
- Sales and business development capabilities, such as prospecting, networking, and follow-up to build and maintain a client portfolio.
- Communication and presentation skills, including professional verbal and written communication and confident public speaking when required.
- Organizational and analytical skills, including attention to detail, basic financial analysis, and accurate record keeping.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, managing time and priorities across office and remote work.
- Comfort with digital tools and platforms for client management, online communication, and basic data handling.
- Relevant academic background in finance, business, economics, Islamic studies, or related fields is an advantage; prior experience in takaful, banking, or financial services is beneficial.
