Role: Sherpa Budgeting Architect
Location: Oakland, CA (Remote, some days onsite for meetings)
Duration 6+ months
Pay Rate: $80 to $90
Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sherpa Budgeting Architect with a strong background in budgeting, public sector experience, and expertise in PeopleSoft Financials. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our financial systems to meet the organization's strategic goals.
Must Haves:
- Sherpa Experience: Experience with Sherpa software.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in ERP systems, project management, or finance.
- Architectural Design & Implementation: Lead the architectural design and implementation of financial systems, focusing on PeopleSoft Financials and ERP solutions.
- Budgeting: Develop, manage, and oversee the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with public sector regulations.
- System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of ERP systems, particularly focusing on financial and human resources modules.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, ensuring best practices in coding, configuration, and system maintenance.
- Project Management: Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including finance, HR, and IT departments, to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure system effectiveness.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve system issues, providing ongoing support and enhancements to improve system performance.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, processes, and procedures.
- Budgeting Experience: Proven experience in budgeting within a public sector environment is a must.
- Public Sector Experience: Demonstrated experience working in the public sector, understanding its unique regulatory and operational requirements.
- ERP Expertise: Strong knowledge of ERP systems with a focus on financial and HR modules.
- PeopleSoft Financials: Extensive experience with PeopleSoft Financials, including configuration, implementation, and support.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in system integration, data migration, and ERP customization. Project Management Skills: Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
