Developing and implementing effective case strategies on liability and quantum. Negotiating settlements with claimants, insurers, solicitors and other parties. Drafting witness statements, court documents and other legal pleadings. Instructing and liaising with Counsel where required. Ensuring all Court and OIC portal deadlines are met. Maintaining accurate case management and billing records. Delivering against individual performance, quality and client service targets. Delegating tasks effectively to maximise efficiency and support team development. Providing clients with clear, timely updates throughout the litigation process. Ensuring compliance with client guidelines, ISO 9001 standards and SRA regulations. Experience, Skills and Qualifications What We're Looking For Previous legal experience gained through education or a law firm/insurer environment. Experience handling legal files or claims matters. Good understanding of the Highway Code and basic Road Traffic Act principles. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively. Thrives in a fast-paced, process-driven environment. Positive, proactive approach to learning and professional development. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Professional, empathetic and confident when handling sensitive situations. Team player with a collaborative mindset. Basic knowledge of Court rules and procedures.
