Snowflake Architect – Azure
Contract Term: 12 months, renewable
Work Location: Remote Work in Canada
Role Summary: Seeking a highly experienced Snowflake Architect with strong Azure experience to support the design and delivery of enterprise cloud data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and support Snowflake architecture within Azure environments.
- Develop scalable data integration and ETL/ELT solutions across Snowflake and Azure.
- Support Snowflake security, governance, performance, and cost optimization.
- Lead or support data migration and cloud modernization initiatives.
- Provide architecture guidance and technical direction to data engineering teams.
- Work with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into solution designs.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience architecting and engineering Snowflake solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong experience designing Snowflake-based enterprise data platforms within Azure environments.
- Experience integrating Snowflake with Azure Data Factory, ADLS, and Databricks.
- Strong Snowflake expertise across security, RBAC, performance tuning, and optimization within Azure.
- Strong experience with data warehousing, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and SQL using Snowflake on Azure.
- Experience with enterprise data migration and modernization to Snowflake on Azure.
