SOC Engineering lead

At SecWise, we're looking for an Engineering Lead to lead the engineering side of our fast-growing Managed SOC.

This is not a traditional management role. You'll combine technical leadership, innovation, architecture, AI, and people management while helping define the future of our services together with the Operations Co-Tribe Lead and the Managing Partners.

What you'll own

• The engineering roadmap for our Managed SOC
• SOC automation, detection engineering and AI initiatives
• Technical onboarding of new customers
• Innovation and architecture across the tribe
• The growth, performance and hiring of our Engineering Chapter

You'll stay hands-on where it matters: designing architectures, building PoCs, validating AI-generated code, and helping engineers turn ideas into production-ready solutions.

Who you are

• 8+ years in security engineering
• Experience leading engineers and growing teams
• Strong with Microsoft technologies; Sentinel, Defender XDR, KQL, Logic Apps, Azure
• Comfortable with Python, PowerShell, APIs, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
• Experienced with AI, LLMs or agents in real-world environments
• Pragmatic, hands-on and no-BS
• Fluent in Dutch and English
