🏳️‍🌈 Who We Are More than half of LGBTQIA+ people experienced anxiety or depression last year, yet affirming mental health support remains painfully out of reach. Voda is changing that. We're building a mental health app that actually centres LGBTQIA+ lives: designed by queer clinicians, grounded in community, and built to feel like it's for us. Over 50,000 people across 140+ countries use Voda. Apple's featured us as "App of the Day" in 37+ countries. But the thing that matters most is that people tell us it's the first mental health app that actually feels like it was made for them. ✨ Your Role We're looking for a Social Content Creator who can film, edit, and ship short-form content consistently, turning Voda's mission into content that helps more LGBTQIA+ people discover Voda. This isn't a channel management role, more so a creation role. You'll be the person behind our social voice: creating consistently, iterating quickly, and bringing genuine cultural fluency to everything you make. We'll complement your work with UGC creators and partnerships over time, but the core content rhythm starts with you. We're especially excited about people who are already active in queer spaces online, understand LGBTQIA + culture intuitively, and bring a sharp, intelligent sense of humour . This role is perfect if you're passionate about mental wellbeing and want to tangibly impact the LGBTQIA+ community. Create and publish short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram (YouTube Shorts where relevant) on a consistent cadence. Own the creative process end-to-end: ideation, scripting, filming (or directing), editing, and posting. We'll assist, but you'll be expected to take the lead. Translate product features and mental health themes into social-native content which are deeply human: not overly clinical and culturally competent. Test formats, hooks, and angles weekly. Track what works, double down on what resonates. Keep Voda's tone consistent: affirming , culturally competent , trauma-informed , and not pandering. Share simple performance updates with the team: what's working, what's not, what to try next. You're already making content . You have your own accounts or examples of videos you've personally created: this is the biggest signal for us. You understand queer culture. Not performatively, but simply because you live in it. You can film, edit, and create fast . You don't overpolish candidness and you iterate. You handle mental health topics with care and sensitivity : you're careful of harmful framing and do not trivialise mental health issues. You're autonomous . You don't need a lot of hand-holding to get things out the door. 1+ years creating content, ideally in mental health, wellness, LGBTQIA+, or adjacent spaces. Bonus points if you… Have basic design skills, newsletter experience, or familiarity with outreach/creator agreements. Have experience running or contributing to creator/UGC partnerships. Are comfortable being on camera yourself. Know how to use AI tools (CapCut, Descript, Captions etc.) to speed up your workflow. ✉️ Ready to Apply? Send: 1\. Your CV or links to your social accounts/content you've personally made. Basically if you have a CV, attach it. But if you don't, just attach some work you've done, your portfolio or your socials (as your portfolio). We welcome Content Creators who don't have a typical CV. 2\. A short cover letter (a bit of personality welcome) Include 1–2 examples of content that you loved creating which resonated with your audience. We care about metrics and engagement, but context and passion matters more. Selected applicants will be invited to a friendly initial chat, followed by a brief, paid trial project to ensure mutual fit. We can’t wait to see what you build with us. 🌈✨
