About us

Skylight Studio builds custom AI software for small and medium businesses: workflow automation, analytics, and document processing, built around how each client works. Founded by Nick Harris after ten years in data analytics and consulting.

We also run two of our own products:

• The Proposal Maker (theproposalmaker.com). Software for firms that send fee proposals. It learns from a firm's past proposals and turns a client inquiry into a finished one.
• Setlist.ID (setlist.id). Paste a DJ mix from SoundCloud, YouTube, or Mixcloud and get the full timestamped tracklist, with BPM, key, streaming links, and export to Tidal or Apple Music.

We are a small remote team.

The role

Full-time, remote. You run organic social for all three brands. Each has a different audience, so each needs a different approach:

Skylight Studio: SMB owners and operations managers. LinkedIn and X.

The Proposal Maker: professional services firms. LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Facebook

Setlist.ID: DJs, producers, and electronic music fans. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, Facebook

What you'd do

You own content and social for all three brands.

• Own each brand's voice and content strategy. Decide what each brand talks about, how it sounds, and where it shows up.
• Plan the content calendar and posting schedule for each brand.
• Write and produce the posts yourself: short video, carousels, screen recordings, memes, threads, and text.
• Plan and run campaigns end to end: launches, feature releases, seasonal pushes, experiments you come up with yourself. Set the goal, make the assets, ship it, report on it.
• Handle comments, DMs, and replies, plus Reddit and Discord communities. Be the voice of each brand in public.
• Grow the channels. Find new formats, new platforms, collabs, and creator partnerships worth testing, and pitch them.
• Track what performs and adjust. Reach, engagement, follower growth, clicks, signups. Report monthly on what worked, what didn't, and what you're changing.

What you need

• 4+ years running social accounts, with results you can show us. Accounts you grew, campaigns you ran, numbers before and after.
• You've owned a previous brand's social presence.
• Strong writing skills. B2B on LinkedIn, verses direct to consumer on TikTok, Instagram all are different mediums and require different voices.
• Video editing and basic design (Figma or Canva). You can take a screen recording and turn it into a polished short without waiting on anyone.
• Comfortable with platform analytics and scheduling tools
• Current knowledge of LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Comfortable posting without a committee. You'll have wide freedom, which means your judgment is the quality bar.
• Able to work independently, manage your own deadlines, and juggle several brands
• Helpful but not required: interest in AI or business software, knowledge of DJ and electronic music culture, B2B SaaS or community growth experience, paid social experience.
• No degree required.
