About BUTLER

BUTLER is a Singapore-founded hospitality, lifestyle and living group committed to service excellence, quality and innovation.

As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, we are strengthening our marketing capabilities to support our next stage of growth. We are looking for a creative, proactive and digitally resourceful individual to manage our online presence, develop engaging content and deliver marketing initiatives across BUTLER and its brands.

Role Overview

The Social Media & Marketing Executive will take ownership of day-to-day marketing activities across our websites, social media channels, newsletters and digital campaigns.

This role combines planning, creativity and execution. You will contribute to marketing direction, maintain a consistent brand identity and develop content that communicates our services, people and values effectively.

The ideal candidate takes initiative, communicates clearly and follows through on commitments. You should enjoy exploring new ideas and tools while remaining focused on the quality of your work and measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Social media management: Develop and maintain content calendars, manage publishing across relevant platforms and monitor audience engagement. Identify opportunities to grow our reach, strengthen our online communities and support business objectives.
  • Content creation and creative direction: Create engaging copy, graphics, photographs, short-form videos and articles. Work with our teams to develop authentic stories about our people, services and customer experiences, ensuring consistent messaging and visual standards.
  • Website management: Keep website content accurate, current and engaging, including service pages, landing pages, articles and campaign materials. Identify improvements to presentation, mobile experience, search visibility and customer enquiry journeys.
  • Marketing campaigns: Plan, coordinate and execute campaigns supporting brand awareness, customer acquisition, service launches, partnerships and recruitment. Contribute ideas on audience targeting, messaging, creative concepts and channel selection.
  • Newsletters and email marketing: Develop newsletters and email campaigns that provide useful information, communicate relevant updates and strengthen relationships with customers and other audiences.
  • AI and technology adoption: Make effective use of available AI tools and technology subscriptions to support research, creative production, productivity and marketing execution. Explore new capabilities while maintaining appropriate oversight of accuracy, confidentiality and brand standards.
  • Performance reporting: Monitor content and campaign performance, including engagement, website traffic, email results and qualified enquiries. Share clear progress updates, identify areas for improvement and recommend practical next steps.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and channels.
  • An understanding of social media platforms, digital content and brand consistency, supported by relevant work samples or projects.
  • Good creative judgement and attention to detail, with an interest in copywriting, design, photography or video production.
  • The ability to work independently, manage priorities, meet agreed deadlines and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • A proactive approach to learning, problem-solving and improving results. Experience with website management, email marketing, search engine optimisation, analytics or paid advertising is an advantage.

Experienced candidates should be able to demonstrate relevant work and outcomes. Early-career applicants and interns may submit academic projects, personal portfolios, freelance work or independently managed digital channels.

Working Environment and Team

You will work closely with Poon Da Qian, Founder & CEO of BUTLER, and collaborate with the EduNanny Operations, EduNanny Development, BUTLER Operations, BUTLER Development, and HR and Recruitment teams.

This cross-functional role offers exposure to business development, service delivery, customer experience and people initiatives. You will work with colleagues who understand the services behind our brands, helping translate their knowledge and day-to-day experiences into effective marketing.

You will have access to a range of AI tools and technology subscriptions to support research, content creation, design, video production, productivity and digital marketing. We encourage thoughtful experimentation and welcome recommendations on how these resources can improve the quality and efficiency of our work.

Initiative, open communication and accountability are central to how we work. We value individuals who contribute ideas, respond constructively to feedback and take ownership of delivering agreed outcomes.

Working Arrangements and Internship Opportunities

We welcome Singapore-based and remote applicants. Remote team members must maintain reliable communication, participate in agreed meetings and coordinate effectively with our Singapore-based teams. Photography, filming and other on-site activities will be planned according to location and available support.

Internship opportunities are available for candidates with a strong interest in social media, marketing and content creation. Responsibilities and expectations will be matched to experience and capabilities.
