Social Media Content Creator

Our CPG client is seeking a creative, self-starting Social Media Content Creator to develop engaging video and static content for TikTok and Instagram. This role is ideal for someone who understands parent and caregiver audiences, is comfortable on camera, and can create relatable, trend-driven content that builds trust and brand love.

This is a 12-month contract, 25 hours a week and fully remote. The working hours are PT business hours.

You must have a portfolio highlighting your experience creating TikTok and Instagram.

Duties of the Social Media Content Creator:

-Monitor social trends and identify content opportunities through social listening.

-Develop and pitch creative social concepts, recipes, and content ideas aligned with brand strategy.

-Create, edit, and publish video and static content across Instagram and TikTok.

-Write engaging social copy and adapt content for paid social campaigns when needed.

-Serve as on-camera talent for select content.

-Track performance metrics and recommend optimization strategies.

-Collaborate closely with social media, community management, and marketing teams.

Requirements of the Social Media Content Creator:

-A minimum of 2 years of content creation and/or social media experience.

-Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and social media culture.

-Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, InShot, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator. Strong video editing, storytelling, and copywriting skills.

-Experience analyzing content performance and leveraging insights.

-Excellent communication, organization, and project management abilities. Experience with social listening and publishing tools.

-Experience working with large consumer brands and agency partners. Knowledge of paid social content best practices and performance metrics.
