Social Media Content Creator

Santara Labs is looking for a Part-Time Content Creator to help create engaging short-form content for our digital channels, especially Instagram Reels and TikTok.

You’ll be responsible for turning our ideas, expertise, and industry insights into short, engaging, and visually compelling videos around SEO, AI, digital marketing, technology, and business.

What You'll Do

• Develop creative short-form video ideas for Instagram Reels and TikTok.
• Research trending topics, formats, sounds, hooks, and content styles.
• Turn complex topics into simple, interesting, and easy-to-understand video content.
• Create video concepts, hooks, scripts, and storylines.
• Shoot and produce short-form videos, including talking-head, educational, storytelling, and trend-based content.
• Edit videos for Instagram Reels and TikTok using CapCut, Canva, or other editing tools.
• Add subtitles, graphics, transitions, music, and other visual elements when needed.
• Create content that matches Santara Labs' visual identity and brand voice.
• Collaborate with the Santara Labs team to develop and refine content ideas.
• Stay updated with social media trends, viral formats, and short-form content best practices.
• Help maintain a consistent content schedule across Instagram and TikTok.

What We're Looking For

• Experience creating content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, or other short-form video platforms.
• Strong creativity and ability to come up with fresh and engaging content ideas.
• Comfortable writing hooks, scripts, and captions.
• Comfortable with video editing tools such as CapCut, Canva, VN, Premiere Pro, or similar.
• Good understanding of what makes short-form content engaging and watchable.
• Good sense of visual composition, pacing, typography, and storytelling.
• Able to turn technical or complex topics into relatable content for a general audience.
• Creative, curious, proactive, and willing to research new topics.
• Able to work independently and meet agreed deadlines.
• Experience with digital marketing, SEO, AI, technology, or business content is a plus.
• Portfolio or examples of previous content are highly preferred.
  

Working Arrangement

• Part-time
• Remote / Work From Home
• Flexible working hours, with agreed content schedules and deadlines
• 1 person only — you'll work directly with the Santara Labs team
• Occasional online meetings and content coordination
• Candidates based in Jakarta / Jabodetabek are preferred, especially for potential on-location shooting, but remote applicants from other areas are welcome.
